| /

August's Coffee of the Month:

Santa Rosa

  • Region: Santa Rosa de Copan, Honduras
  • Process: Washed, Sun-Dried, RFA
  • Altitude: 1300-1700 MASL
  • Roast Level: Medium
  • Sensory Notes: Caramel, Granola, Dried Fruit, Raw Sugar

This month’s coffee comes to us from a municipality in Western Honduras, Santa Rosa de Copan, named for the patron saint of Latin America. Living her life devoted to a higher calling, it was believed that Santa Rosa only slept two hours a night to allow extra waking hours for prayer. If there was ever a candidate in need of a coffee, I would vote for Santa Rosa. I don’t know about you, but when I’m running low on sleep, I need a vat of coffee to keep me going. Though not sold by the vat, this month’s coffee is guaranteed to keep you coming back for more! Filled with intense notes of caramel, raw sugar and granola, you’ll also notice and undertone of dried fruit with just a smidge of acidity. I think this one is going to be VERY popular, so get it while you can! Try Santa Rosa today!
